How To Use

All you need is 5-10 minutes a day performing RMT (Respiratory Muscle Training) with your FitAir device.

Step 1: Insert the mouthpiece into your mouth as you would a mouthguard. Securely bite down to hold the device in place.

Step 2: Stand or sit comfortably in an upright position maintaining good posture. Take some breaths through the device and twist the resistant adjustment at the end of the device to achieve your desired level of breathing resistance (make it challenging, but not uncomfortable). Now, inhale deeply through the mouthpiece until you completely fill your lungs with air.  Then, exhale through the mouthpiece until almost all air is completely out of your lungs. This completes one repetition. Start with 2 sets of 10 repetitions and work your way up to 2-4 sets of 30 repetitions over the course of 2 weeks. Start with a lesser resistance level and work your way up as your lungs and respiratory/inspiratory muscles strengthen.

Step 3: For best results perform 2-4 sets everyday. You can achieve good results only training 4-6 days a week if you prefer. Perform sets within 6 hours of each other. Sets can be performed back-to-back but allow yourself time to catch your breath fully before performing another set. We recommend training 2-3 hours after you have had a meal.

Remember to always listen to your body just as you would performing any type of exercise.  You want to perform overload in a controlled safe manner.  If you ever feel any pain stop immediately and take a break from training.  However, be assured that RMT is a safe practice used by millions of people every day.
